This energetic and highly rhythmic arrangement of a 15th century carol uses a vibrant call-and-response style, which helps the piece maintain its momentum right through to its thrilling fortissimo conclusion.
Cantate Gloria
Suitable for Christmas and other festive occasions, this is a lively anthem for SATB unaccompanied. The piece begins with an insistent, syncopated rhythm in the tenors and basses and is followed by a vigorous imitative section involving all four voices. The opening rhythmic pattern returns to bring the anthem to a triumphant close.

This carol is rhythmic and jazzy and is propelled forward by an infectious and insistent choral refrain, with a lively piano accompaniment adding zest and colour. Glory to the Christ Child
This exuberant new carol (whch you might be able to hear playing in the background) was performed by the choir of Kings College Cambridge, conductor Stephen Cleobury, at the 2007 Service of Nine Lessons and Carols. For SATB unaccompanied, it is full of contrast and seasonal cheer: with a sprightly refrain, in which unison passages burst into jubilant harmony, this would make an ideal addition to any carol service or concert.
