We live in <A HREF="http://www.colchester.gov.uk" TARGET="_top" TITLE="http://www.colchester.gov.uk"><U>Colchester</U></A> which is about 50 miles from London and on the edge of some beautiful countryside.  </div> <div> Alan now works full-time as a free-lance composer - up until Summer 2005 he was Head of Composition at the <A HREF="http://www.colchester.ac.uk" TARGET="_top" TITLE="http://www.colchester.ac.uk"><U>Centre for Music and Performing Arts, Colchester Institute</U></A>.  He is also an examiner for the <A HREF="http://www.abrsm.ac.uk" TARGET="_top" TITLE="http://www.abrsm.ac.uk"><U>Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music.</U></A></div> <bR> <div> We have two children, who both live in London: </div> <bR> <div> Sam is a graduate of Guildhall School of Music and Drama. He is a professional saxophonist: he has a permament chair in the Syd Lawrence Orchestra, and plays regularly in the Pasadena Roof Orchestra, Kai's Kats, Bad Ass Brass, The Sam Bullard Quartet, and many other bands.
